How to auto-generate a timetable (Admin — Web)

Web Steps

Go to Admin → Timetable → Auto Generate from the left menu.

Step 1 — Schedule Config: Select which classes to include, set working days, and set number of periods per day with timings.

Step 2 — Subject Loads: Set how many periods per week each subject should have for each class.

Step 3 — Teacher Limits: Set the maximum number of periods per day per teacher.

Step 4 — Generate: Click Generate. The system creates an optimized timetable minimizing conflicts.

Review the generated timetable for each class — conflicts shown in red.

Make manual adjustments if needed using the timetable editor.

Click Save Generated Timetable to apply it.
💡 Tips & Notes

Auto-generation requires teacher assignments to be fully set up first. The more complete your subject-teacher assignments, the better the auto-generated result. Always review and adjust after generation.
