What is the flow of Exams? (Overview — All roles)

💻
Web Steps
1
Admin creates the exam — sets its name, academic year, and the classes it applies to.
2
Admin creates the exam schedule — either manually, or using Auto-Generate to build the full timetable of subjects, dates, and times in one step.
3
Admin publishes the exam — until published, students and parents cannot see the schedule.
4
Once exams are conducted, the concerned Teacher enters marks for their subject and section — from the Vennsilix app or the web panel, either works.
5
Teacher finalizes marks once entry is complete and correct — finalized marks are locked and can no longer be edited directly by the teacher.
6
Admin can check Marks Entry Status at any point — click the Marks Status column next to any exam to see exactly which sections and subjects have entered and finalized marks, and which are still pending, to follow up with teachers as needed.
7
If a correction is needed after finalizing, Admin can Unfinalize a specific section/subject, reopening it for the teacher to edit and re-finalize.
8
Once marks are finalized, students and parents can view their results, and Admin can generate and print a Marks Memo for any student.
