STEP 1 — School Creation (Super Admin does this automatically): When Super Admin creates your school, the following are auto-created: current Academic Year (e.g. 2025-26), 8 default Subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Hindi, Telugu, Computer Science, Physical Education), Classes and Sections (if Super Admin specified the range during creation), and all default Cost Centers.
2
STEP 2 — Verify Auto-Setup: Log in as Admin. Go to Admin → Academic Years — confirm the current year is active. Go to Admin → Subjects — confirm default subjects exist. Go to Admin → Classes — confirm your classes and sections are created. If any are missing, create them manually from the respective pages.
3
STEP 3 — Assign Subjects to Classes: Go to Admin → Subjects. For each subject, click Assign Classes and check all classes that teach that subject. Alternatively, if subjects were not assigned during school creation, click Assign All to assign the subject to every class at once.
4
STEP 4 — Set Roll Number Pattern (optional): Go to Admin → School Settings → Roll Number Settings. Select a preset pattern or type a custom regex. Default is [1-9][0-9]* (numbers from 1 with no leading zeros).
5
STEP 5 — Upload Teachers: Go to Admin → Teachers → Import. Download the teacher template CSV, fill in teacher details (name, phone, subjects), and upload.
6
STEP 6 — Assign Teachers to Classes: Go to Admin → Teacher Assignments. Assign each teacher to the classes and subjects they will teach. A class can have multiple class teachers.
7
STEP 7 — Upload Students: Go to Admin → Students → Import. Select the Class and Section. Download the student template CSV, fill in student details (name, parent name, parent phone are required), and upload. Repeat for each section.
8
STEP 8 — Assign Roll Numbers: Go to Admin → Roll Numbers. Select each Class and Section. Click Auto-Allot to assign roll numbers in alphabetical order, or enter them manually. Click Finalize when done.
9
STEP 9 — Setup Fee Structures: Go to Admin → Fees → Fee Structure. Create fee heads (Tuition, Exam Fee, etc.) with amounts for each class.
10
STEP 10 — Create Timetable: Go to Admin → Timetable. Either auto-generate the timetable (configure periods, breaks, subject loads, then click Generate), or import it from a CSV template (Download Template per class/section, fill, and upload).
11
STEP 11 — Add Holidays and Calendar Events: Go to Admin → Holidays. Add school holidays and important dates for the year.
12
STEP 12 — Configure SMS Credits: Go to Admin → Settings → SMS. Add SMS credits so the system can send automated SMS notifications for fees, attendance, and announcements.
