1
Rollover is the year-end process that transitions your school from the current academic year to the next one.
2
WHAT HAPPENS DURING ROLLOVER:
3
A new academic year is created and activated (e.g. 2025-26 becomes active).
4
Students are promoted to their next class — Class 6 students move to Class 7, and so on.
5
Final-year students (e.g. Class 10 or Class 12) are marked as Passed Out and archived.
6
Timetable, Teacher Assignments, Fee Structures, Hostel allocations, and Transport routes carry forward automatically to the new year.
7
Leave requests, Homework, Messages, Activities, and Study Material from the old year are soft-deleted and exported to a CSV archive — accessible from Admin → Data Archives.
8
Roll numbers are cleared and need to be re-allotted for the new year.
9
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER ROLLOVER:
10
The system now operates in the new academic year — all new attendance, marks, fees, and homework are recorded under the new year.
11
Historical data (old year's attendance, marks, fees) remains accessible in Reports by selecting the previous year.
12
Passed-out students no longer appear in active class lists but their records are permanently retained.
13
The Data Archives section holds the CSV exports from rollover — download them before they are purged after 30 days.
14
Re-allot roll numbers: Go to Admin → Roll Numbers → select each section → Auto-Allot → Finalize.
